What is the TECHMobile initiative?

The TECHMobile is a mobile STEM engagement program designed to bring a hands-on technology lab, and direct connections to educational and career pathways, directly to high schools across Ohio. By converting a vehicle into a hub for innovation, we deliver immersive STEM experiences to students right at their doorstep.

A visit from the TECHMobile is an interactive event. Students get to engage directly with cutting-edge technology like robotics and VR systems. The day also includes presentations on educational pathways from Ohio colleges, discussions about career opportunities with industry professionals, and plenty of time for Q&A and networking.

What kind of technology will be on display?

We bring a range of exciting technologies for students to interact with, including autonomous robots, virtual reality (VR) systems, advanced sensors, and other tools provided by provided by Mantel Technologies as well as community and industry partners.

How does the TECHMobile benefit students?

Our program is designed to demystify STEM fields and make them more accessible. By providing hands-on experiences and direct connections to professionals and educational institutions, we help students see a clear path to a future in technology, from certifications to advanced degrees and fulfilling careers.

Is my school eligible for a visit?

Our goal is to hold 8-10 events per year. However, we plan to expand across the state. We encourage all interested schools to reach out to discuss potential future visits.
